Arthur is the Managing Director of Apeirospect, a business strategy consultancy. He is a seasoned lawyer and engineer with over 25 years of business, legal practice, intellectual property, and industry experience across a variety of industries, having held senior positions at multinational companies in the U.S. and Hong Kong. He was most recently the general counsel of a publicly listed medical device company and has also been an independent non-executive director of a publicly listed company for 10 years. Arthur is passionate about education and giving back to the community. He began his journey with ESF as a community representative and School Council Chair at Shatin College in 2017, and has been the School Council Chair at Shatin Junior School since 2023. Arthur has a Bachelor's in Engineering from Duke University, a Master's in Engineering from Case Western Reserve, and a Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University.

Dr Shanks is a distinguished educator with over 30 years of experience in teaching and school leadership, primarily in Scotland and Hong Kong. Her leadership emphasises fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment for approximately 900 students aged 5 to 11, focusing on the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP).

Dr Shanks holds a Doctorate in Education and her research centres on the capabilities approach to school leadership through reflexive practice. She engages with various educational associations and research communities, actively contributing to discussions on effective leadership and innovative teaching methods.

At ESF Sha Tin Junior School, Dr Shanks has implemented initiatives that enhance learning experiences, such as approaches to learning and inclusion educational needs support. Under her guidance, the school emphasises not only academic achievement but also instils values that promote resilience and adaptability in students.

Professor Jacky Keung is a Parent Representative on the Shatin Junior School Council and serves as Director of the Agentic Software Intelligence Research Laboratory in the Department of Computer Science at City University of Hong Kong, where he leads a team of research scientists and students advancing the next generation of Artificial Intelligence for Software Engineering.

In his pioneering work, Prof. Keung focuses on Agentic AI for Software Generation, by developing intelligent software systems that can autonomously reason, plan, and solve complex problems. His research aims to make technology safer, more reliable, and capable of adapting to rapidly changing situations and environments.

As a parent, Jacky is deeply committed to bringing his expertise in science, technology, and governance to support Shatin Junior School’s continued growth and academic excellence. He is passionate about helping to foster a future-ready, nurturing environment where every student is empowered to flourish and reach their full potential.

Juliet is the PTA representative for the School Council. A mother of three daughters, two of whom have graduated from Shatin College, with one graduating from SJS this year, Juliet is honoured to be a member of the Shatin Junior School Council and is very much looking forward to sharing her skillset and experience with the ESF community.

Mr Paco Wu has been dedicated to elevating the professional standards of the Hong Kong accounting industry for many years and is active in the development of youth and community services in Hong Kong.

In terms of industry development, Mr Wu served as the President of The Society of Chinese Accountants and Auditors, where he worked to optimise and organise various types of training courses and forums. This allowed accounting professionals to stay updated on the latest industry developments and helped them meet the challenges and seize new opportunities of the new era. At the same time, Mr Wu actively visits tertiary institutions to promote the accounting profession and explain the latest industry developments to students in accounting and business departments, encouraging them to join the field after graduation to relieve manpower shortages and promote sustainable development.

In terms of youth development, Mr. Wu is committed to fostering young accounting professionals. He served as the President of Junior Chamber International Island, where he organized various social work projects, encouraging and leading young people to learn through practice and nurturing youth leaders to bring a positive impact to society. Additionally, Mr. Wu serves as a school governor for primary and secondary schools and participates in the mentorship programmes of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and The Chinese University of Hong Kong, assisting students in exploring their potential and planning their career paths as a mentor.

In terms of community service, Mr Wu founded a charity and serves as the Founding President of the World Charity Association. He has long focused on supporting disadvantaged groups and has enthusiastically participated in various community activities for over 20 years, including flag-selling fundraisers, visiting elderly people living alone and in elderly homes, visiting children’s homes and correctional facilities, distributing gift bags, organising large-scale banquets, blood donation drives, and beach clean-ups. Furthermore, he pays special attention to the growth and development of teenagers, serving those in need and promoting a culture of care through activities such as financial management games for primary students, live-action Monopoly for youth, and joint-school Chinese debating competitions for secondary students.

Mr Wu's outstanding contributions are recognised by all sectors. He was honoured as a Hong Kong Outstanding Volunteer in 2024 and was awarded the Outstanding Alumni of the Faculty of Business and the School of Accounting and Finance of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2025.

Tracy has worked in ESF schools for over ten years, with experience across both Early Years and Primary levels. With an academic background from the University of New South Wales and Beijing Language and Culture University, where she specialized in teaching Chinese as a second/foreign language, she contributes rich multilingual perspectives to the IB PYP program.

Tracy is a forward‑thinking and dedicated teacher who places student wellbeing and inclusion at the heart of her practice. She is passionate about adapting her approaches in line with evolving educational pedagogies and integrating cutting‑edge technology to help students become confident global citizens with a love of learning for life.
